The ANA-grade, comprised of early-diverging lineages within flowering plants including Amborellales, Nymphaeales, and Austrobaileyales, holds a crucial evolutionary position. Here, we developed ANAgdb, a comprehensive multi-omics database dedicated to the ANA-grade, available at www.anagenome.cn. ANAgdb integrates 10 detailed annotated genomes of 6 species, which represents three orders of the basally launching angiosperm, a collection of the taxonomic information including 123 scientific names, re-analyses of 167 RNA-Seq and 9 sRNA-Seq datasets, and the gallery of ANA-grade research papers published in the last decade. To facilitate easy access, we craft four hierarchically accessible functions including Genome, Transcriptome, miRNA and Taxonomy. Furthermore, eight built-in tools including Search Gene, Blast, JBrowse, Primer Design, Gene Annotation, Gene Expression, Literature and Download are implemented or deployed for data downloading and browsing, gene functional exploration and experimental practice. We believe ANAgdb will serve the community of botany research.
